However, overall it brought people who experienced something terrifying and life changing together to say "you're not alone and you're not crazy". That's not just one person saying it, that's a whole community. When you're told to repress yourself and your emotions from day one, then you experience these things that fuck you up and you have no idea how to cope or who to go to, these movies and songs help. They are things we experience, and often feel alone in. But depression, anxiety, sa, trauma, all those things aren't something someone becomes sad about because of a song or movie. The band played more shows throughout 2016, opening for acts like Ride and Field Music, along with headlining. English formed a band and played her first show opening for Craft Spells at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco in late 2015. Their first three songs were posted on SoundCloud and became something of a sensation.
